fin!

Being in school sometimes makes making art a lesser priority. So when I get an assignment that involves creating art in any way, I get pretty excited.

My Set Construction class got an assignment to paint a scenic painting. I chose to recreate a photograph by Dustin Parr from heremydear.com fame.

This is the final result:

I don't paint as often as I would like to, but I had a wondrous amount of fun painting this. (I say it was "fun" now, knowing full well that the painting process had its share of horrible frustrations as well).

Anyway, that's all for now!

Thank-you, my dear!
The painting is 3 feet tall by a little under 2 feet wide if I remember correctly.

really nice job JL.

I'll trade you everything I own if you paint over top of them for me.
